DANIEL ZAYAS

“This past year I was able to ride a roller coaster for the very first time in my life. Words can’t describe how grateful I am to have found Surgical Healing Arts Center… they changed my life and so far it’s been a great ride!”

MARSHA BURKE

“Being overweight most of my life caused me to have orthopedic problems in my knees, feet and ankles, etc. I would be out of breath very easily. I was on a CPAP machine for sleep apnea. I couldn’t walk long distances or stand for long periods of time. For years I put off having surgery, simply because of fear and not knowing. From the very first appointment, I felt very comfortable. I did not feel as though I was being judged because of my weight. Staff answered my questions and concerns.”

NADJA CRUZ

"I never knew I had a choice of this type of surgery. I tried fen-phen years ago, Atkins, injections, all types of failed surgery. The communication was always open. Now watch out world! Even though I'm 60, but I act like I'm in my 30s again because I missed out on those years with weight. I go bowling, movies, casino, bike night, Daytona night, cruises, shopping for pretty clothes. I don't need my CPAP. I don't have hypertension. My cholesterol is fine. My back is tolerable. I have energy. I'm happy. I smile again. I flirt again. I have self-esteem!"

Dear Surgical Healing Arts Center,
After I left your office on Thursday, 2/27 @ 10:00, I realized that I answered your questions and told you I was feeling great, but I never said “Thank You.” Thank you for encouraging me to think about correcting my previous surgery. Thank you for your surgical skill, for spending time to explain the procedure (more than one time), and for spending time with me during our visits. So many doctors now, understandably, can devote only a few minutes during an office appointment then leave in a rush, but you wait to be sure there are no more questions to be asked.

At the end of my visit, I felt that you are almost as delighted as I am to have come through the procedure so positively and that you genuinely care about your patients. Also, the office staff reflects your influence. Kelsey, Amy and Angie, the staff with whom I have had the most contact are friendly and patient as well as professional. I am glad I was able to find your practice.

As we have discussed before, I continue to look for a way to help my daughter have this surgery as well. She came to see you for an initial visit and is trying to save for the procedure. She lost her insurance due to the increase in cost for her husband’s employer. I happened to find the enclosed information on the internet and wondered if you have heard of it? The website is www.wlsf.orq.

Thank you again for performing my revision and hernia repair surgery.
